Driver of semi injured during early morning Minneapolis crash on southbound I-35W
A crash on southbound I-35W in Minneapolis that slowed traffic during the morning rush has left one person in the hospital.
A traffic management camera for the highway at Johnson Street showed an overturned semi blocking several lanes under the overpass. The Minnesota State Patrol says troopers were called to the area around 6:15 a.m., and the truck wasn’t rolled upright until nearly two hours later.
The State Patrol says the truck’s driver was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. No other vehicles were involved in the crash, which is still being investigated.
